Célere Magòria, a residential development comprising 175 homes in Barcelona, stands out for its commitment to energy efficiency and sustainable architecture. With an “A” energy rating, the project incorporates ventilated facades using Stoneo panels from ULMA Architectural Solutions, enhancing both aesthetics and performance.
Energy Efficiency Initiatives
Recognizing the environmental impact of the real estate sector, Célere Magòria prioritizes energy efficiency to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions. Achieving an “A” energy rating translates to an estimated energy saving of 87%, leading to significant economic benefits compared to lower-rated homes.
Facade Design and Implementation
The design objective for Célere Magòria was to create a sophisticated facade with excellent thermal and acoustic properties. To achieve this, a ventilated facade system was adopted, comprising smooth and grooved panels strategically arranged to enhance visual appeal while optimizing performance.
Collaborating with ULMA Architectural Solutions, the project addressed technical challenges such as setting-outs, joints, and trims, ensuring seamless integration and efficient installation. The result was a visually striking facade offering superior thermal and acoustic insulation, complemented by a range of colors and textures.
Construction Highlights
Situated in the vibrant district of Sants-Montjuïc on Gran Via de Les Corts Catalanes, Célere Magòria stands as a testament to sustainable construction practices. Notable features include the use of geothermal energy and double-flow ventilation systems, contributing to the development’s “A” Energy Rating and reinforcing its commitment to environmental stewardship.
