Exploring Otherworldly Narratives
Andrea Wan, originally from Hong Kong and raised in Vancouver, has journeyed through various corners of the globe, spending eight years in Berlin before returning to her current residence in Vancouver. Her artistic portfolio often delves into imagery that feels otherworldly, resonating with deeper narratives and personal ideologies. Nature, personal mythology, and introspection are recurring themes in Wan’s work, which has garnered attention from clients like the New York Times, Apple, and Wetransfer, as well as exhibitions across Europe, North America, and Asia.
Art and Community at PARKWAY
Wan is one of ten artists selected to contribute to a community project initiated by BlueSky Properties in Downtown Surrey, known as PARKWAY. PARKWAY aims to infuse life into the Surrey community, with a particular emphasis on promoting art and culture to foster vibrancy. The newly established sales center serves as a showcase for artworks that reflect life in British Columbia, including pieces acquired from Wan.
