Streaming giant Prime Video has announced the launch of “Mission Start Ab,” a reality series developed in collaboration with the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA). This seven-episode series aims to showcase promising entrepreneurs focused on scaling innovative solutions tailored for India, with the potential to drive socio-economic change. Participants will navigate through various challenges as they strive to expand their businesses and secure funding for their ventures.
A Platform for India’s Start-Up Ecosystem
Highlighting India’s vibrant start-up ecosystem, the series brings together ten early-stage founders who will undergo rigorous exercises and simulations. These tests will evaluate their entrepreneurial acumen, management skills, communication abilities, and crisis management capabilities. The objective is to identify India’s next Unicorn, with three renowned investors joining the search.
“Mission Start Ab” is currently in production and is expected to premiere soon on Prime Video.

Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, commended the resilience of India’s grassroots innovators and expressed excitement about the series. He emphasized its role as a platform to showcase the inspiring stories of individuals driving social change through innovation. Sood believes the series will offer valuable learning opportunities to grassroots innovators, providing insights into sustainable start-up practices and attracting potential investors.
